Hold on here-first off that pink sapphire is filled with milky inclusions. Sapphire comes in many colors and is from the species called Corundum hardness of 9. Ruby is the pink corundum so this looks like a not very precious pale pink ruby to me, often given brand names like Burmese Ruby which are set most likely with white natural brilliant cut Zircons in gold plated sterling silver. High quality rubies are so hard to find and really expensive. Some rubies have been filled with lead glass to add to its color and clarity. Today the Lab grown sapphires (and diamonds) are excellent for cut and color and are very reasonable in price. They also test like a real gem! Not sure what this is. Gem quality & expensive? Nope.
