  • Captain Tom Moore has officially opened new Nightingale hospital via video-link alongside Health Secretary
  • The 99-year-old veteran was invited to open the site in Harrogate, north Yorkshire after raising £27m for NHS
  • He followed in footsteps of Prince Charles and Prince William, who also opened Nightingale hospitals
  • Speaking earlier today, Captain Tom said opening the venue was ‘one of those things you never think would ever happen’
