Ella Bache Skin Care

This is googie second request for Ella Bache Skin Care and she apparently started with taken care of burn victims. That gets me interested, I’d be happy to support a person like this. Let’s find out more about her and fine work.

Our story started in 1936 with revolutionary cosmetic chemist, Madame Baché. She was a modern woman – determined, intelligent and ambitious – who knew that improving the condition of a woman’s skin could not only improve her overall appearance, it could also make her feel great and more confident about herself. Madame Baché recognised that the standard way of diagnosing skin types by dry, oily or normal was over simplistic. Instead she moved skincare into a new era, where solutions were individually tailored based on the skin’s condition at a cellular level.

Ella Baché has become a uniquely Australian story thanks to the inspiration of Edith Hallas. Married to Madame Bache’s cousin, Edith brought Ella Baché to Australia in 1954, leading her on a lifetime journey resulting in the creation of one of Australia’s most enduring and respected skincare companies.

We are now the country’s largest skincare franchise network, with products and services available in over 150 salons nationwide, and over 60 years experience in training and education.

Our Philosophy

We’re strong believers in the philosophy that ‘no two skins are alike’. This means skin has its own set of characteristics and is constantly undergoing change. Age, diet, stress, environmental influences and seasonal changes all affect the skin. Choosing skincare products off the shelf can be a hit or miss affair. Ella Baché Therapists are experts at performing a consultation & diagnosis before recommending the products and treatments to help return skin to optimum skin health.

Products are available in the US available on Amazon and other retailers.

Skin care after 40

What you do when you are 20 will take care of your skin at 40.

1. Protect your skin from the sun do not tan!!!! 85% of all skin ageing occurs due to sun exposure. Hats and sun screen. The Edwardian ladies with their parasols had it right.

2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day 8 ounce glasses. You moisturize your skin from the inside and so drinking water is the best way to hydrate your skin.

3. Don’t smoke.

4. Eat right.

5. Drink booze in moderation. These life time habits will give you great skin.

Sure keeping skin clean and moisturizing are great but there is no miracle skin cream. It is all down to genetics and good habits.

Let me add, wear big sunglasses even in the pool, ocean, ask Jeannie she will tell you barely crows feet at 56.  She looks fabulously too for 49 again.

We were obsessed with skin care in our teens and 20’s, and it’s something we carried on in our lives. We want to pass this on to you.

No tanning beds on a regular basis

I know, I did it before and worked part-time in a salon in my 30’s. Apply sunblock throughout your day; I love those spray on.  You will still get color without the nasty burn.  The older you get it hurts more. Trust me OMG; gravity is not kind.

I got an idea, we need a video on facial exercises  This looks like fun!

We are going to be talking about skin care over 40

Has your skin changed as you have gotten older? Well, you are not alone, I’ve had the same issues, I sat down with Advanced Product consultant for Mary Kay, Jeanne D, my friend and sister since I was 18 yo.  We are over 50 something and had a lovely time together. Here is the highest compliment she gave me, did you get injections done, Nope!  Love it!  💖💖💖We get one another!

This is what I purchased above, and I swear by this, I did receive the friends discount.

Jeanne took the time to color match me, and I’m so thrilled!  I was wondering why isn’t my foundation not applying/setting as it used too? What I was missing is a primer and the MK foundation Primer Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 goes on like silk, a baby bottom is a correct term.  It’s not greasy, apply upward just in case of any facial hair. Your skin is ready for foundation.

You can still have that youthful skin glow without any injections, ladies. That is my next purchase it retails for  $18, and all these products go a long way.  Most higher end products will.

Summertime is right around the corner, and I’m here in Florida. I like to go bare skin and some mascara and lipgloss.  My gift was a beautiful lipgloss collection, which when she opened up her insulated MK lipstick case I swore angels were singing, AAAAAAhhh, damn girl I want one of those!

Jeanne explained some of the new products out now and gave me some awesome samples. Timewise facial peel, Timewise vitamin C activating squares and some lipstick samples with an applicator brush included.

My all time must have is Satin hands, it’s amazing not only for your hands, elbows, and feet and where you have any dry, cracking on your skin.  You’ll be amazed how much dead skin comes off.

Here is what I like you to do, send your questions into this post. Jeanne has signed up for the blog, and she can answer all your questions.  I’ll leave this sticky for a while see how many questions we can get for her. Even If you’re younger and your skin is oily, She can help you too.

I trust her, Jeanne is a girl that glanced at the college material and got A’s. I studied all night and got a B.  She is an amazing person and the stories we can tell but we won’t lol. OMG, we were naughty but fun, did you guys read the pelican story going across Alligator Alley?  Maybe she should tell it.  I love her to death.

Jeanne can drop shipped anywhere in the US. I’m not making a dime other than being an MK user and a dear friend.

Estee Lauder Soft Clean

Review of Estee Lauder Lauder Soft Clean Moisture foaming cleanser.

Soft Clean

Retails for $22, nice scent, foams quickly without having to use a lot of the product.  I use cheap white wash clothes, ensuring bacteria free use, with a little more exfoliation, skin shreds two layers, be nice to the largest organ on your body.

It worked brilliantly! Splash warm water to get any residue off and splash with cool water for your pores. Pat your face with a clean towel leaving it a bit moist apply your favorite moisturizer.

I signed up for the Estee Lauder site that gives you a 15% discount on your first order; they also have a loyalty program.  I would recommend this product to people with a T-zone or even oily skin since you will be applying the moisturizer that works best for you.  There wasn’t any oily residue at all.

If you found a product that works for you, send us anon and share.

Moles & Freckles

Not trying to be rude- all the talk about making sure ‘freckles’ are not covered up- I think some are freckles. Do others look like moles? Everyone really needs to check and watch their skin. Freckles are not that raised from skin surface like multiple ones visible from photos. Could be me? Moles, square bump some see, others don’t. I have a friend told to see a doctor I believed to be a mole, not a freckle. He sought help, and it was precancerous and removed asap. FYI
You’re fine, we are having a discussion concerning skin care, and we know how much Meghan loves to worship the sun. When you get older you can develop more moles or some might become bigger.
Being a two-time cancer survivor that is what I had removed and tested first. Thankfully it was negative, and everyone should take care of your skin.
Harry being a fair skin fellow he needs to be extra careful, I notice some thickening on his nose that I’m concerned about it.  Lots of sunblocks applied often.  Being on a polo pony smashing the ball all day and he does travel to sunny destinations on behalf of Sentebale for charity events, he needs to care for himself.
Thank you, anon 🌸😎JD
