Welcome to Florida! Visit us

Please, bring your app for mapquest and enter the address in before you go to your destination.

Senior visitor and the millions who don’t live here are awestruck at the beauty that is Florida. We love it, but we want you to be safe.

This is the primary complaint Floridians have, I-75  has four lanes each way. Seniors will drive in the left lane doing 45 miles an hour while the rest of traffic is doing 70, okay with me so far?  Then said tourist will see the sign for McDonald’s or Cracker Barrel and cut across 4 lanes of oncoming traffic to get the right lane, insert car break sounds, whiplash and Mr and Mrs. Magoo made it across the highway while the rest of us has shite our pants and praying to Jesus we didn’t kill anyone today.

They have a giant store of everything. Total tourist trap and local watering hole, flea market, nature preserve. I remember going there when I was a kid and thought who in the hell wants to live out here?  Now, I do live out here.

Weather is great for spring break, so get on the phone now and book your reservation and meet me at the tiki bar.  It’s excellent Motorcycle weather and if you belong to any Amvets or legion come down and check out the cheap all you can eat breakfasts on Sundays with $1.00 bloody mary’s.  You can do Florida cheap; you just have to know where to look.

This is where I’m taking Vintage!

Weather in Fort Myers now is 73 degrees, I have the windows open, but it will be going into the ’80s this coming week.

The Oceania Tour

I have been reading that the Australian tour was a great success and brought in millions of dollars. Do you think this is true or just more of MM’s bullshit P.R.? It is being described as “tourism gold.”

Any Royal tour will help economies, did Harry & Meg’s tour helped them now? No, it’s investment in the country’s future. These countries had to pay the bill for their travel, entourage and stay.

I’ll give you my opinion as a Hospitality/travel expert.

In my opinion, the big winner is New Zealand as a travel destination. It showed a beautiful place to go for the ecotourism boom happening now.

This is followed by Sydney, Austrailia as a fabulous metropolitan area to visit and have fun. Followed by Bondi Beach and Fraser Island.

The biggest losers are Tonga and Fiji the focus was too much on them and not enough on the natural beauty of these amazing islands and wildlife. Let me show you what you missed. Who wants to go now?
