Washington Post ~ Julian Assange

Julian Assange carried a book during his arrest. He may have been sending a message.

Julian Assange appeared to be making a statement during his arrest from the Ecuadoran Embassy in London on Thursday. With wrists shackled, the WikiLeaks founder managed to carry a copy of Gore Vidal’s “History of the National Security State.” Its cover, featuring a photo of Vidal with a pensive, skeptical expression, was helpfully faceup so that eagle-eyed armchair detectives could discern Assange’s latest read.

Once Assange made it to court, he turned to the book while he waited for the proceedings to begin, according to Tristan Kirk, courts reporter for the London Evening Standard. During a delay, Assange “made good progress with his book while waiting,” Kirk tweeted.

I love the monarchy

Dear JD I have followed you from Jan 2017, it’s your decision, but you are the one that started this journey on DM, you have all the dirt & lies on your blog .? Not saying all is Gospel but IMO USA press would pay a fortune for this information. Look at it this way God put you in this pave to protect the RF be the “ Whistleblower “ or sue the ass of DM / Telegraph & MM, and it’s time you got paid for over 2 years work ❤️
I love the monarchy, and I couldn’t even imagine a world without them in it, and yes everything is on this blog, and some of it is in my head.  I need some advice from the people and discuss it with family.  HM should rest in peace when the time comes, and the rest of the family should go on to serve the people as it should be.  They don’t deserve this, and I made an oath to see this through to the end.  I promised to protect Harry.
My husband shouldn’t have been used like that.
Thank you anon 🌸😎
